MELBOURNE SPRING FASHION WEEK 2011

Sat front row at the Melbourne Town Hall for 2011 MSFW and doodled my way through The Designer Series Runway #3. With the likes of Alexi Freeman, Autonomy, Bettina Liano, Jack London, Leopold, Ristefsky Macheda, Thom Finch, White Suede and Fernando Barraza, I was able to put together a neat little pile of sketches. The colourful styling and the bright accessories enhanced the boldness of Bettina Liano's collection and was a nice contrast against the crisp tailoring and geometric lines of Jack London and Leopold. White Suede produced some soft organic lines on my page, while the bare and buff blokes in Ristefsky Macheda presented a great opportunity to, if nothing else, analyse the male figure!
